Little Freak Babies TOS

By purchasing Little Freak Baby (LFB) products you agree to the following terms of service. 

Communication

We will do our best to respond within 5 business days. 

Commissioning 

All pricing is in CAD – we are a Canadian company and currently only offer services within Canada. For International Inquires please reach out to the contact email.

For any custom plush commissions you must be over the age of 18.

If you are under the age of 18 you are permitted to purchase a premade Lil Freak Baby product with parental or guardian consent through our Etsy or in person at a convention. 

Customers under 18 years of age and seeking a commission must do so through a parent or legal guardian. Parents/legal guardians must act as the intermediary between Little Freak Babies and the minor, including all communication pertaining to the commission. Parents/legal guardians must be responsible for submitting the commission application and for providing payment.

We offer free quotes for custom plushies. Once the quote is agreed upon, we require a 40% deposit. This deposit is refundable for up to 7 business days after payment is received. After 7 business days the deposit will be considered non-refundable. This is to cover material cost, pattern drafting, and concept sketches. The remaining 60% must be paid before custom plush is shipped out. 

By submitting a request for a quote, the buyer agrees that the subject of commission is their own original intellectual property, or that the client has obtained permission from the subject’s owner to request a commission depicting their character.  

A reference sheet or at least 2 pieces of reference art is required for designing a custom Little Freak Baby plush. We do not accept AI references or designs. We reserve the right to refuse commission if the provided references are deemed to be insufficient or lacking in sufficient detail. 

Once the final design has been approved, no further changes are permitted. 

In the event that the commissioner is unreachable through standard avenues ( Email, Etsy, Instagram, etc.) for 2 or more months, Little Freak Babies reserves the right to consider the commission as cancelled and will reallocate materials toward other projects. If a commission is cancelled in this nature, there is no refund. 

Updates to commission will be provided to clients directly through their preferred method of communication (Email, Etsy, Instagram etc.) 

Shipping

Quotes do NOT include shipping cost. Custom plushies will be shipped through FedEx – the buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping. 

Please review all shipping information and addresses thoroughly. Once shipping details have been confirmed, Little Freak Babies is not responsible for any incorrect information or addresses. 

Little Freak Babies is not responsible for lost and/or damaged packages once they are in the hands of the courier.  We’ll do our best to ensure your order is sufficiently packaged and protected. If any issues occur during shipping the buyer is responsible for contacting FedEx. 

Payment

We accept payment through Etsy (for Etsy purchases) and Square. Please review the following list to ensure we can accept your payment type:

Do not attempt to submit payment through other means unless requested

Tolerance and Abuse Policy

Little Freak Babies have the right to refuse service or sale at any time for any reason within compliance of the law. This may include work that involves or relates to depictions that make the artist uncomfortable, are illegal, hateful, or otherwise are obscene in nature. 

There is zero tolerance for harassment or abuse. Should the commissioner display harassment of any sort, such as threats, verbal or physical abuse, or rude behaviour, Little Freak Babies reserve the right to drop the project without warning or reimbursement. 

Quality Disclaimer 

Little Freak Baby plushies are considered handmade art dolls. They will not hold up to the same wear-and-tear as a regular plush toy, and should not be considered as toys.

When displaying the plushies keep out of direct, long term sunlight. 

Every plush is handmade, unique and cannot be replicated exactly. Due to the handmade nature of our product we do NOT consider the following to be defective:

  • Visible thread or stitching 
  • Variation in stuffing density 
  • Fabric degradation of any kind
    • Please see the care card that came with your plushie and is available on www.plantedkitty.com for how to best care for your plush  

We DO consider the following to be defective:

  • Any ripped or popped seams
  • Thread sculpting coming undone ( face, legs, or bum deforming )
  • Malfunctioning squeakers/keychains 

Warranty and Refunds

We offer a lifetime repair warranty for Little Freak Baby plushies. We care heavily about our plushies and want to ensure they stick around for as long as possible.  

If your plush begins to display any defects we will repair it for free – the buyer/commissioner is responsible for shipping both ways. 

If you are experiencing any issues with your plush that were not mentioned above, please do not hesitate to reach out to us through email, lilfreakbabies@gmail.com so we can resolve your issue. 

We do not offer refunds for any prints, stickers, or any other printed media.
